Talk about striking a blow - a low blow. A handful of college coaches have already contacted Ohio University swimmers in an effort to get them to transfer. One of the keys to OU's efforts to retain its program is retention and at present no swimmers intend to transfer. The team and its staff has asked CollegeSwimming.com to share their intentions with the swimming community along with a request that they cease contact. Ohio and CollegeSwimming.com will withold the names of those programs and coaches who agree to respect these swimmers' efforts as they head off to conference and into a bigger challenge of saving their team.
