PAF Hosting Tailgate Prior to UNO Dual Against Stanford

The University of New Orleans athletic department and the Privateer Athletic Foundation are teaming up to host a tailgate on Sept. 7 prior to the UNO men's swimming dual against nationally ranked Stanford.

Fans are encouraged to show up early for the tailgate festivities, which will start at 2 p.m. in the parking lot immediately outside of the recently re-opened Lakefront Aquatic Center.

Attendees will get a chance to meet the Privateer women's swimming and diving team, in addition to listening to music and eating tailgate fare.

The dual against Stanford begins at 4 p.m. and represents the first UNO swimming and diving competition at the Lakefront Aquatic Center since the women hosted Houston on Jan. 29, 2005. The men last competed at the facility during the previous incarnation of the squad during the 1991-92 season.
