With its 117-88 win over Swarthmore Saturday, Franklin & Marshall's men's swimming team won its 17th consecutive Centennial Conference (CC) dual meet.
The streak dates back to 2006 when the Diplomats lost to the Garnet.
F&M moved to 1-2 (1-0 CC) on the season by winning seven of the 11 events.
Matt Jaffee and Tom Grabiak both won two individual events for the Diplomats and teamed with Zach Wilt and Peter Fishler to win the 200 medley relay with a 1:38.44.
Jaffee placed first in the 200 IM (2:01.93) and the 200 backstroke (1:57.27) while Grabiak won both the 200 butterfly (1:58.48) and the 200 breast (2:13.02).
Fishler took the top spot in the 100 freestyle (49.53)
Wilt, Tom Bergstrom, Ken Dautrich, and Jake Reingold won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:30.89.
Franklin & Marshall returns to the pool on November 21st when the Diplomats travel to Washington (Md.).
Franklin women's swimming team remained unbeaten in the Centennial Conference (CC) with a 122-88 win over Swarthmore Saturday.
The Diplomats (2-0 CC, 2-2 overall) won eight of 11 events.
Krista Hollingsworth won a pair of events - 50 free (26.09) and 200 backstroke (2:18.68) - to lead F&M. She also was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:58.11) with Rebecca Rice, Katherine DeCrosta and Jackie Behr.
Olivia Hill and Ana Franzluebbers also won two events each for the Diplomats.
Hill took first in the 1,000 free (10:47.62) and 500 free (5:22.19) while Franzluebbers won the 200 free (1:59.08) and 100 free (56.03).
DeCrosta won the 200 IM with a time of 2:17.78.
