Lemke leads the way as Mines competes against Kearney and Morningside

Matt Lemke led Colorado School of Mines with a personal best in the 1000 freestyle, breaking 10 minutes for the first time. The rest of the men's team followed suit, with the following student-athletes winning multiple events: Aaron Miller (200&500 free exhibition), Jacob Dole (100 back & 50 free), Brian Coates (200 & 100 fly), and Jesse Dennis (1M & 3M diving).
The women's team had some success of their own, with the following student-athletes winning multiple events: Lauren McIver (100/200 back), Angel Forsling (100/200 breast, 100 fly), Michaela McNiff (100/200 free, 200IM exhibition), Rainey Perkins (1000/500 free) and Sarah Moore (1M & 3M diving) for the Lady Orediggers. Moore achieved another national qualifying score on 3M with her score of 273.45 points.
Next up for Colorado School of Mines is a dual meet against Colorado College on Saturday, November 7, in Colorado Springs. Meet is scheduled to start at 12noon.
