UMW Swim Teams Fall at DI William & Mary

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swim teams each fell at Division I William&Mary on Friday night. The men fell by a score of 171-86, while the women fell by a score of 178-77.
The Eagle did finish first in three races. Junior
Sarah Crockett (Toano, Va., Lafayette) finished first in the 100 yard freestyle, with a time of 54.63, and freshman
Cameron Figuers (Cary, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) took top honors in the 400 IM, with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of
4:38.76. For the men, junior
Stephen Clendenin (Ashburn, Va., Home Schooled) finished first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:13.53.
Both teams will be back in action next Saturday at Gallaudet University, along with fellow CAC foe Salisbury University.
