CollegeSwimming.com and the CSCAA jointly organize four regular dual-meet ranking programs.  Each of the programs is outlined below:

Division I Poll:    The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) conducts a Top 25 poll of all Division I swimming and diving programs.  The rankings are decided upon by a panel of sixteen Division I assistant and head coaches.  There are ten polls released throughout the season.
Mid-Major Power Rankings:

CollegeSwimming.com produces a Power Ranking for Mid-Major Division I institutions.  The mid-major rankings were designed to support and promote institutions that do not benefit from large football and basketball television agreements.   Rankings are based on each team's best dual meet lineup as judged and submitted by participating teams.  Rankings are announced four times throughout the season and entries are due on November 14 (Pre-Invite), December 20 (Post-Invite), February 6 (Pre-Conference) , and March 6 (post-conference).  New teams will be added to the rankings between announcements as needed.

Institutions from the following conferences are eligible to participate: America East, Atlantic 10, Big West, Colonial Athletic Association, EISL, Horizon League, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-America, Mid-Continent, Missouri Valley, North Eastern, Patriot, and Sun Belt conferences. Additional schools may participate provided they certify that their school awards 7 or fewer women, or 5 or fewer mens scholarships. Contact Randy Horner about certification.
